Our Stealth One Series Front Bumper represents the most well-designed aftermarket product of this nature for your third gen Toyota Tacoma. Each one is proudly designed and built in British Columbia, Canada, and is made of USA supplied A36 Steel. The design process starts with a combination of advanced 3D scanning and hand measuring to ensure dimensional accuracy. Using 3D scans of the vehicle allows us to create not only a well-fitting bumper, but also one that flows with the body lines. Our goal with this product was to create what should have come on your Tacoma from factory. Our innovation with this product is beyond skin deep though. The 3/4” tow points are just the tip of the iceberg that are our skeleton plates. These plates act as the main point of load transfer for the entire bumper and connect back to the 3/8” mounting plates with a combination
of triple pass welds on the front and plug welds on the back. The loading that this design can take far exceeds the stock mounting plates. To control this, we’ve included reinforcement brackets to transfer excess loading back to the frame without affecting the factory crumple zones. A lot of companies view these brackets as optional, but we include at the base level to ensure that every customer has the strongest kit available. The wings include a system of vertical gussets to resist loading in all directions. They are incredibly rigid when experiencing rock strikes. Loading on the face of the wings allows for some flex to let vehicle glance off a rigid body.
