On the Toyota IFS platform, the factory spindle is a notorious weak point that can bend under the leverage of larger tires or heavy compression. The O2 Fabrication Spindle Gusset Kit reinforces these factory uprights, providing the structural integrity needed to keep your wheels pointed straight and your truck on the move.

Key Features

Structural Reinforcement: Specifically engineered to prevent the inward bend common in factory Toyota spindles during hard bottom-outs or high-leverage maneuvers.
Precision Manufacturing: Each kit is CNC Plasma cut and CNC bent from 3/16” high-strength steel, ensuring a consistent fit against the factory casting.
Platform Specific: Designed in-house at our shop to provide maximum coverage on 2nd/3rd Gen Tacomas, FJs, and 4th/5th Gen 4Runners.
Comprehensive Bracing: Includes additional gusset braces to provide lateral support that standard plates alone cannot offer.

Pro Tip: While the spindles are off the truck for welding, it is the ideal time to inspect your lower ball joints and wheel bearings. If you plan to retain your front sway bar, keep in mind that minor trimming of the gusset plates will be required for clearance.
