Deaver’s Expedition Series Leaf Springs are the industry-standard solution for overloaded 2nd and 3rd Gen Toyota Tacomas. Unlike factory or add-a-leaf kits that simply increase stiffness, Deaver uses a 9-to-10 leaf progressive rate design. By using a higher count of thinner, premium steel leaves rather than a few thick ones, these springs provide a much smoother, more linear compression while significantly increasing the load-carrying capacity.

• Every off road build is different. To ensure you get the perfect ride height and performance, we offer the Deaver Expedition Series in three specific stages based on your constant bed weight:
  • Stage I: Designed for trucks with 0–300 lbs of constant additional weight. Perfect for trucks with a bed cover or lightweight rack that still want a plush, progressive ride.
  • Stage II: The sweet spot for most overlanders. Designed for 400–600 lbs of constant weight. Ideal for rigs with a bed rack, rooftop tent, and some recovery gear.
  • Stage III: For the heavy hitters. Designed for 700–1,000 lbs of constant weight. This is the choice for builds with full steel bumpers, swing-out tire carriers, campers, and heavy gear loads.

Pro Tip: When choosing your stage, be honest about your constant weight. If you buy Stage III but only carry a heavy load twice a year, your truck will sit very high in the rear and ride quite stiffly when empty. We recommend weighing your truck at a scale or totaling up the weight of your rack, tent, and bumpers before ordering.
