Where Factory Suspension Falls Short on Shuttle Roads

Loading multiple bikes into your truck quickly overloads factory components. The added weight combined with rough access roads, ends up with a rough uncomfortable ride, not only for you, but on your truck as well:

  • Rear-End Sag: Additional weight compresses the rear end, leading to harsh bottom-outs and less clearance in the back, and light steering in the front, especially if you're running a bike rack in the hitch.
  • Shock Fade: Continuous washboard roads quickly overheat low-volume factory dampers, leading to uncontrolled bouncing and bottoming out.
  • Bent Cam Tabs: Heavy, loaded impacts can flatten thin factory alignment tabs, throwing your suspension geometry completely out of spec.

Our packages add the specific spring rate and cooling capacity required to control heavy, unevenly distributed shuttle loads.

FAQs

Will these kits lift my truck?

Yes, expect roughly 2 to 2.5 inches of lift depending on your specific model and final spring configuration. The primary goal is restoring suspension travel and handling under load.

Can I install this package myself?

Yes. The components can be shipped anywhere in North America. However, the $490 Builder Bonus (cam tab reinforcement and laser alignment) is only available for in-shop installations at our Surrey, BC location.
