Description

Factory Tacoma suspension is great for daily driving, but the moment you load up the bed with gear and hit a potholed FSR, the rear end squats and the front end loses its composure. The Locked Offroad Stage 1 Suspension System for 2005–2023 Tacomas (2nd and 3rd Gen) cures that instability by matching trail-tested 2.0 Internal Floating Piston (IFP) front coilovers with an Archive Garage Traveler Add-A-Leaf in the rear. This direct bolt-on package upgrades your damping control and load capacity, giving you a balanced ride on the pavement and confident traction when the tarmac ends.

Increased Travel & Clearance: You gain up to 2.0 inches of adjustable front lift and 25% more front-end travel, allowing your tires to articulate further and maintain contact on uneven terrain.
Rear Load Support: The included Archive Garage Traveler Add-A-Leaf revitalizes the factory leaf pack. It combats rear squat when you're hauling camp gear, a rooftop tent, or a dirt bike, without creating an overly harsh unladen ride.
Corrosion Resistance: Built with black zinc-coated steel bodies and anodized 6061 aluminum components, these shocks are highly resistant to wet climates and winter road salt.

Pro Tip: Because this kit keeps the front lift at a modest 2 inches, it is fully compatible with your factory upper control arms (UCAs). However, if you plan on maximizing your downward travel or running a larger tire, upgrading to a set of aftermarket UCAs from our Suspension collection will ensure your alignment specs are perfect.

- This kit is 100% bolt-on with no fabrication required, but tearing into the rear leaf packs to install an Add-A-Leaf takes some elbow grease and a sturdy set of C-clamps.
